What is the difference between turkey ham, and ham? Why turkey? can you get chicken/beef/lamb ham?

I never thought about that actually. I always assumed they didn’t serve pork parmos for religious reasons… same as the bacon on pizzas is often “turkey bacon” …. But they do use pepperoni and chorizo?? Is it beef pepperoni?

I don’t know why they label the bacon as “turkey bacon” but don’t call the chorizo “beef chorizo”
