Celtic

Ref Celtic/Rangers - I agree with JM14 based on current squad. They both have big fanbases but not the TV money.

Didn't Kilmarnock get beaten by a non league Welsh team last year.

You could say they're the same size as Newcastle, Leeds, Aston Villa, Everton, etc
All decent sized clubs, I think Celtic are bigger though or at least potentially bigger.
Didn't they try to get into the 'EPL' a few years back?

Champions of Europe and runners up once with local lads. Not surprised at some comments but at some agreeing with the hatred....noted mind.

Celtic still have a huge investigation hanging over their heads into historic abuse, I think it could cripple them for quite a few years when they have to start paying compensation

If true I hope they dont cover it up like Rangers did with Gordon Neeley, that would be disgusting , but no doubt you despise and hate Rangers too?

I've got no love for either club, both living in the dark ages but any English man who likes Celtic is a weirdo as far as I'm concerned.

Both clubs have their fair share of bigoted, small mind idiots in their fan base (and plenty of decent normal supporters too it should be said). Surely if you "hate" one or the other because of the bigotry you should also hate the other one for the same reason? Unless you sympathise a bit with the views of one set of the bigots?

Of course plenty of other reasons to dislike both clubs, but it's the religious nonsense that seems to get most commonly cited as the reason people do.

I don't particularly hate either of them, but would love it if neither of them won the league. Which is highly unlikely.

I think last nights result just puts to bed the argument that no scottish team could compete in the Premier League.

I don't even think they'd compete at the higher end of the Championship.

Celtic are obviously the best team in Scotland and have been for the last decade, but even they wouldn't compete IMO.

Both fairly horrible clubs; I like anyone in Scotland apart from them.

Something nice about them?
Ok, Mogga played for Celtic, and, as a fan of stadium architecture, Ibrox has the best main stand in Britain.

In England, I think they'd be championship standard initially, but after sharing in our TV deals, both would be in the PL within a few seasons. I imagine they'd hover in midtable, out-Geordieing the Geordies about how they should be doing better.
