Ferencvaros have a decent European history, winning the Cup winners cup and Fairs cup in the past.

Still, I was surprised to see how much lower than the Scottish League the Hungarian league is ranked by Uefa.

Maybe the surprise is how high (12th) the Scottish League is ranked.

However, I don't think there's really that much difference outside of the top few leagues now: the big leagues have bled the rest of Europe white.

I think anyone could've won the league with Celtic over the past 5 years; unless Rangers are there with a level playing field it's a one team division with a crazy difference in terms of revenue. Lennon found out in Europe, tactically inept and a team full of flat track bullies like Scott Brown who isn't anywhere near the player he was but can regularly look a world beater in the league.

Based on the players we bought from them lower championship. They would soon catch up with the TV money. Thankfully the whole Scottish independence thing has scotched that.
