Thought he nailed it with the subs tonight. I don't know if Dijksteel had an injury but getting Coburn on early second half gave us the focal point and the hold up play we lacked - which was important especially as the game wore on. More importantly, of course, he scored!
However, it was clear Jones was in trouble against Thomas and Headley after they equalised, so it was a great shout to put Clarke on and give us that strength and cover across the back line. Plus, Greenwood by that stage was a passenger (as he'd been most of the night).
Finally, he brought Engel on to replace the headless chicken Bangura, who was getting targeted by their fans for his dive and might well have got himself sent off, and McGree with enough time to affect the game, which he did - in fact he was excellent and I'm gutted he's straight off again just as we get him back.
