The reason we can't sign even poor premier league players that clubs don't want anymore is the massive disparity between what they get paid in the PL and what we can pay in the championship. Managers are no different. We can't afford the majority of PL managers and definitely not Potter. He was on £10m a year at Chelsea which is £250k per week. Our highest paid player is in 10% of that. It's probably more than our 1st XI are on.

hahaha as much as I would love that, we would just be in the same position come a season's time. Another manager let down in the transfer window and broken promises by the board, and he will just be selecting any old side waiting for the bullet ..

I actually don't want Carrick to be sacked or didn't want rather ... but tonight, something fked up is going on. I am convinced he will have moved on within the week. Such a shame what we went from to this, but the way the club reacted to losing Akpom, Giles, Archer, Ramsey ... some of the worst business I have ever seen done IMO ... how naive and reckless, in all honesty.
