The problem he has is, Bangura and Forss are injured, Smith is still coming back from an injury, and Howson can't handle the run of games anymore.
Playing Coburn today doesn't mean Lath isn't still his first choice.

Said the same on Saturday. Our recruitment has looked poor so far with none of the new players looking like they are good enough.
Not sure what he has against Forss but surely he is our best option through the middle with possibly Lath or McGree playing behind him.

Sadly i think he is out of his depth with this squad. The way he wants to play these players don’t suit that style - the squad and especially the best first 11 on paper is a lot different to last season and it’s evident with different lineups each game he doesn’t know what to do. Will be the same each game going forward random Carrick selection generator

To me You can see the worry and panic in Carricks face on the touchline, that calm persona isn’t there.

When we signed Silvera I thought he might start in the cups and come on in the league occasionally.
This is his 6th start out of 9 this season. There’s no way you can bring in a bairn from the A-league and expect them to hit the ground running. We don’t even throw our own young players in at the deep end like that.
But whose it on, Scott for signing him or Carrick for starting him? Or Gibson.

The one good thing about Silvera seems to be when he cuts inside and has a crack from outside the box, so why he's playing on the right I have no idea.

Same as Saturday whatever the game plan is it’s not working. Our midfield is atrocious and we Offer nothing going forward.
Crooks doesn’t move and is a waste of a shirt Rodgers or Lathe must be a bette r option especially as we are one down.
This is going to be a long season.
