Carrick’s pre Norwich press conference

What's the latest with FIsher? I thought he was back training on the grass?
I heard bad news several months ago - but I honestly cannot recall where and when
- he was our player as well wasn't he for that half year. And he did that great Q and A and with us. I wonder if there is anyway to connect with him just to say we haven't forgotten him and wish him the very best. Am sure I speak for everyone in this.

He sounded very relaxed and as ever, level headed. He really is a great fit at this club.

I wish there had been more positive noises regarding Dael Fry but let's see - maybe he's keeping the opposition guessing.
Hopefully it's like the Lenihan situation when he was out for only a short while, and not like the Clarke one. We need Fry in the side whenever possible.

The descriptions coming out of the injury he sustained sounded horrific. I was over the moon when we signed him tbh, thought he was very much under appreciated at PNE that game against Norwich when he totally dominated Todd Cantwell who was very much seen as the next big thing.. a master class and very much hoped to see much more from him.

It was his birthday on the 4th and the boro media team sounded like he was still on the road to recovery..

Almost certainly he is.

I'd do the same.in his shoes, revealing the personel available/tactics in the name of satisfying the fans questions would be a poor trade off.
