Highly rated 18 year old midfielder leaves Aston Villa after refusing to sign a new contract due to “lack of game time” at 17/18 year old


So he leaves them to sign for…………. Chelsea ffs
 
So at Villa he would be loaned out, get experience, managed.
At Chelsea he will be loaned out to 5 different clubs in 5 seasons, become rich and end up signing for MK Dons ....where at 23 he's a multi millionaire with little motivation.
Another wannabe/could have been on the pile.
 
He made 18 first team appearances for villa last season

Could easily have been 20+ this season. All whilst working and learning under a legend in your position like SG,

I guess the lure of being 9th choice midfielder at Chelsea was too great.






Having said that, if he wants to join the Wilder revolution on loan for the season… I’ve always liked you Carney!
 
Probably doubled his money and a new 3-4 year deal. No doubt loaned out for the next 5 years.

When you look at Balogun signing a 4 year 40k a week deal at 19. He'd scored one senior goal.

These kids can technically be not far off being set for life without ever actually hitting the big time (whist I get being in a prem clubs academy is pretty 'big time').
 
City recently rejected 16mil for Delap from Southampton. What's he done?

Just like that keeper they sold for 16mil after a season in league one for pompey. This is why champo clubs can't even sign 'kids' from prem clubs. The wages are ridiculous.

£40k/week - bearly Championship standard at present - £30k of that £40k is for potential - crazy.
