I see some of you lot have already bought the “they are all the same” mantra that the tories are spreading.

Well I’m sorry but if you think people like Lisa Nandy, Angela rayner and Jess Phillips are the same as Mogg Jenkins dowden and the rest of the sunak cabal then you need to seriously look at yourself.

These are just personalities. The policies are the same. The general business/markets first approach, underfunding of public services, lack of investment etc will continue with this Labour government. Better than the Tories, yes, but marginally when what is needed is a complete turnaround.

A good friend of mine who has always voted Tory even said he wouldn’t at the next election. They have made everything worse in 13 years. Not a single part of civic life or society has remained untouched. They have damaged everythin.

I know a few in this camp. One of my best mates is a fundie in Mayfair and even he won’t vote for them this time round.

I don't think anyone would be particularly thrilled about taking over the country in the next 12-18 months. I don't see how it's possible to change much at present with the position the country is in. It's mainly the fault of the Conservatives why we're in this position, but if nothing changes, there's a real risk that Labour would be back out again at the next election with no hope of getting back in.
