Cards handed out to us

From what I have seen we seem to be getting a lot more Yellow and Red cards handed out this year compared to the opposition. Not sure how Eaves escaped a card today, one sided referring to our detriment in most games!

Not the worst take on that performance to be honest. We are going to continue to get poor referees but whilst you may think its a conspiracy its the form of the team that concerns me.

A very frustrating day — poor start to the game, first half was almost a blur. As for the second half we were in clear control but we missed three decent chances especially Sporar’s. If Sporar scores you’d think that would have been it and we go into win. Can’t blame the manager for that but Warnock for me didn’t make changes when we were begging for them — Watmore and Crooks were both flagging in the 60th minute but changes weren’t made.

We seem to get a booking in the first ten minutes of most games. It does seem that the refs are waiting to book our players the first time they're put into a position to make a decision. Opposition players always seem to get a touch more leeway, but most fans will probably think that about their team.

Does anyone know our card count for the season so far?

So we're the dirtiest / worst team in the league then?

I don't think i've seen more than a handful of bad challenges this season.

It’s not so much the bookings that get me it’s the complete furore that kicks off in the bench when a FK goes against us.
Twice this season (QPR and Blackpool) the game is stopped for the ref to tell our bench to calm down and we then go an concede from the FK.

it can’t help us and we definitely switched off. Also there is a rota between Blackwell and Jepson to give the nearest official a mouthful. I don’t think it helps. Most of our games are close and 50/50 decisions going our way would help

So 112 fouls have resulted in 31 yellows and 2 reds.

Where as Swansea have conceded 146 fouls and received only 17 cards.

So far opposition teams have only received 20 yellow cards against us collectively.

Watching our touchline perform is like watching a Sunday morning outfit.
