I passed an accident on the M1 near Leicester last month caused by a car travelling the wrong way on the motorway. Baffles me how people do it, mind must have been wandering all over the place.

Baffles me too… the layout of our roads is designed to feel unnatural to drive the wrong way so I really don’t know how anyone can do it and then still continue like this person has

You can't between I think it's the Norton turn and the Parkway. It's specifically prohibited.

Main cause of driving wrong way on dual carriageways/motorways...... Cheap sat navs and stupid people

I’ve stopped a car coming down a slip road to join the 66 wrong way once… they’d got confused following the sat nav that updated slowly… they were of senior age and looked very confused… rather than toot and gesture I stopped and put hazards on while the u turned, they pulled over and I made sure they were ok… generally with it do let them carry on once they’d reset…

Doesn’t bare think what could’ve happened…
