Apperently some fishing spears "taken" by Captain Cook are being repatriated to their Aboriginal owners. But weren't they given as gifts to Cook in exchange for " trinketes"?
 
What is a Trinket, I've heard of them all my life, never seen one, but they seem to used in all early swizz schemes, especially on sea bay

I wonder if he actually forgot to pack the Trinkets on the Endeavour, why don't we send some Trinkets now and a note of apology. Surely its better than accepting Cooky was a robbing xxxx.

I don't have a trinket but I do have a Round Tuit.
