Can't wait for pubs to reopen...

Most of the people I talked to are not that fussed about pubs reopening. My dad and many people his age group (70’s) are going to avoid them, and they love a tipple.

Boro North America's Ellen had her birthday last Tuesday, so I went to The Football Factory for the first time in a year to help her celebrate. No big European games on, so the place was nice and quiet. Good afternoon and a win to boot.

Stick me on the 'I can't wait' list.
Great to hear that some folk aren't bothered, that just means more room (and beer!) for those of us that are looking forward to socialising with a pint in hand 👍

I wasn't bothered last year. Now I am absolutely jumping. Won't be able to sit indoors for a while yet and who knows how long largely pointless things like screens, one way systems, and masks while walking round will be in place........ but....

Outside from 12th April. Due to our altered work patterns I'll be doing mornings in April and will be finishing at 2:30 and heading to the pub to sit outside with a few ales with a friend and colleague.

I know some pubs in the area are delaying opening though as they have no trust that government will just move dates again.

We had a team meeting on Wednesday regarding the reopening plans.

We will be opening reduced hours on April 12th outdoors. Owners are predicting a busy year overall, especially with the uncertainty surrounding foreign travel.

Randy what do you mean reduced hours. Your places decision or government directive.

Ours.
Waste of time opening up all day, also weather dependent. Keeps us financially safe mate.

There won't be a curfew when everywhere reopens. The government lost that fight in court hence why the curfew and substantial meal b***ks has disappeared.

Pub near me has been doing their beer garden area out all week, fresh coats of paint, flower pots, sanding down the decking etc. Just hope they keep the noise down whilst im at my desk 😅
