Can you run household appliances from a battery?

I should probably expand on this.

The new playstation vr 2 headset is getting good reviews. The only downside being tha cable which connects to the console and can be restrictive inside the games.
My thought was, if the ps5 coukd be powered by a portable source, then could the entire system be built into a wearable set. I.e a backpack or similar

One of my friends has solar panels which he uses to charge up batteries when he's producing too much electricity then uses the batteries to power his house when he's not generating enough via the panels. I know the battery system wasn't cheap and it includes some sort of inverter but he does claim he is pretty much self sufficient including charging his Tesla.
This is the future! I listen to the fully charged podcast and Robert Lewellyn was describing how for the hot summer monnths how powered his house, heating and charged 2 EV purely from solar charging into batteries. Imagine not using any grid energy for weeks?

Then @Subbuteo_171 has nailed it. And ecoflow or am anger power pack. Especially if you can afford one with a solar array so you can top up the battery with new solar
