Can you get a refund from club for away tickets i??

I emailed the club yesterday about refunding my Watford ticket due to train strikes. Didn't think they would, but a couple of helpful FMTTMers suggested it. They replied by email today saying:

"The ticket has been sent out in the post, if you can return the ticket to us by Wednesday 27th we will then be able to refund"

So I'm going to pop in to the ticket office before the Southampton game.

I wonder if they deduct your loyalty points? If not, you may have found a life hack!
 
Train strikes and rescheduled games different rules, just because your work pattern has changed or unforseen circumstances unfortunately not.

Train strike for a home game i assume if your registered address on the club's database is outside the Teesside area
