Shame we couldn't pull off that perm attempt in Jan. I mean even if we'd paid 10-15mil (I imagine it was a big bid) we'd be on a winner.

The lad is a top finisher. I think the comparison with Defoe is spot on

Enjoy him. I doubt we will be able to get him back. It's such a shame we didn't have him from August. He played about 20 mins football for villa. An absolute waste.
