I know Capybara, Erimus and many collectors will be interested in this.
The Cambridge Rules project to commemorate the founding, unifying rules of modern football has come to an end with an amazing book -
An 800 page book of fans memories and memorabilia from Britain and around the world all somehow packaged into a replica monument of that one that was designed, sculpted and engraved before being erected at Parker’s Piece in Cambridge. The forgotten birthplace of modern football. Or rather it was forgotten. Amazingly they cracked open the monument and sent sections of the granite obelisque to projects and fooball grounds across the world, Brazil, China, India, Egypt and Kenya.
Neville Gabie (Forest Green fan) the sculptor of the Ayresome Park sculpture trail and designer Alan Ward (Norwich fan) who I worked with at Bradford Park Avenues were the two designers - I attended the zoom book launch last week.cambridge rules book 1.jpg

The sew on patch looks quite good I think. They are the rules beneath it - the FA adopted all but one as the fundamental rules of football - no7. is great - Goal is when the ball is kicked through the flag posts and under the string. (there was no cross bar initially).
