Byork - Debut

I had a period of madly loving Bjork after catching the video for cocoon on mtv2 at 2am...

I love everything from the sugarcubes through to biophilia - the last few albums I can appreciate without loving as much as her other work.
 
One of my all time favourites both live and recorded. I even loved the flutey tour which everyone else wrote up as disappointing. I want to see artists do interesting things and she rarely disappoints. As far as later albums go I'd have "Vulnicura" in my top ten by anyone. Ever.

I saw her at Wembley Arena Jan 25th 1996. She was simply stunning. Hyperballad will always be magical.

I moved back north in 98 and never saw her live again until at O2 in London on Nov 19th 2019. Fabulous show, but was simply nothing like the Bjork I love.
First 4 albums including Vespertine in 2001 are wonderful.
I can't get away with anything since then.
 
I had this album on CD when I was a student. I am revisiting it as we speak.

There is one song recorded in a toilet.

I had forgotten this.
