Having just read on the MFC website that that goal made Britt our top scorer this millennium, I have to say I was surprised. So often he does seem a bit anonymous in games... and yet 43 goals from 99 starts is decent. Especially in a side like ours that never creates too much.

As Parmoboy said on here many times, Britts strengths are getting on the shoulder of defenders and getting in on goal that way. He’s not a striker who’s great at contributing in other ways as we know but that’s an impressive goal record in reality when you put it in starts rather than appearances. He’s Warnocks Captain this season and we as a set of fans, let’s just get behind the team this season and see where it takes us. It’s clearly what Warnock wants.
