Britt & Roberts

TWENTY SEVEN MILLION POUNDS of talent currently being made to look like complete wastermen.
I don't get why Roberts wasn't put on earlier. He'll leave in January. I'm frustrated with the subs. 3 nil up and risking injury on key players

Must be soul destroying to be brought on after 87 minutes. Not a tactical change, not a time wasting change. Worse than not brining him on all all. I like NW, but that was out of order and served no purpose.

Agree with this. I like Warnock and he's done a good job up to now but I feel he's treated Roberts poorly. To me it felt as though he brought him on after 87 minutes to send him a message, and that he's probably hoping Roberts will request to terminate his loan so that it frees up money which can be spent in January.

At the end of the day, Warnock's the manager. If he doesn't fancy him he doesn't fancy him, we have to trust his judgement. I still have this horrible feeling though he's going to go out on loan to another Championship club and do well.

There transfer fees have nothing to do with the players - the fact that they are not contributing to team performances has everything to do with them.

If that's true I don't get it. I really think that he could have come in earlier today and had a better run. This would have rested another player as well as actually given Roberts an actual game and not just 5 mins.

Collins at Luton probably cost them 50p. He's been a right goal machine in the champo.

The majority of the champo sides have forwards who cost between 1mil and 2mil and score double figures.

We spent 15mil on Britt / 9 Mil on Braithwaite and 7mil on Fletcher (not to mention 2mil to loan Hugill). It's an obscene amount of money on average forwards. They have no resale value and earned a fortune in wages.

The Monk crazyness will come to an end this summer. It's taken nearly 4 years.

It was set up perfectly for him to come on earlier, the game was won and it would have been an opportunity to rest players. Watmore for Roberts was the change that needed to be made and leave Akpom on. I think if Warnock genuinely sees the lad having a future here he would have given him 20 minutes at least today.

I agree , doing no one any favours with what happened today.
20 minutes at least today.

Any professional footballer left on the bench when Lewis Wing is put ahead of them must question if they are at the right club. Thought Robert’s coming on with a couple of minutes to go was Warnock sticking two fingers up to people who questioned his authority and letting Robert’s know exactly where he stands. Robert’s would be crazy to stay here after January - will get a regular start at a decent championship club but he isn’t a Warnock type so he has to go. Warnock takes no rubbish off anybody and he’s doing a grand job so far so we back his judgment

Anything to suggest that Roberts is acting that way?
