I said he's a top League One, lower end championship striker......I stand by that, he simply isn't of the quality to push any team on to get promoted, in fact in a decent squad he will hold it back from promotion by being so profligate. His impact against top half teams is and always has been negligible.

He's a 'championship striker' in the same way that Waghorn, Dexter Blackstock, Nahki Wells and Jon Stead are championship strikers. They played and scored a few, but generally struggled at the tip end of the division

Yet he has only ever troubled the top 10 scorers in a season once. So it's a sign of persistence, not quality that has him on that list.

Any half decent championship striker gets promoted and ends up playing in the prem regularly even if they struggle at that level. I mean are you arguing that Britt is better than Teemu Pukki because he has 20 more goals in the championship? That's a strange take mate

HE's a championship striker, in that he has played as a striker in the championship....he just isn't a very good one.

His turkish club are doing okay. Outside chance of a champions league place. I hope we don't repeat this thread if he is playing in the Champions League! Mind you, Chuba Akpom played champions league and he is a worse striker than Britt. I was hoping he would score more goals in Greece, so we could offload him as well, but not sure he has been too successful personally even if PAOK are doing okay (second in the league).
