British troops in Gaza?

The question is: WHY are the British State involved in the genocide.
"We`ve" been embedded with Israel since before October 7th 2023.
We`ve been supplying bombs, drones and military hardware to Tel Aviv for decades, sharing intelligence and fuelling the Israeli war machine.
Its no surpirse.
"National Security"?
Whose "nation" and whose "security"?
Not mine nor those of the thousands of dead Palestinians - which goes back to Balfour, the British Mandate and 1948, not just a few months ago.

If Jeremy Corbyn asking that question in Parliament is resulting in debate on here, then he`s doing his job. Its called "Democracy".

Do you know or understand what happened under the British mandate? It did not support the Jews then living under its remit in any way shape or form, in fact it stood back and allowed Arabs to terrorise the Jews who had arrived in the 48 years beforehand and was also responsible for turning back thousands of concentration camp survivors from post war Europe from arriving in Palestine.

The Arabs ( Egypt, Syria, TransJordan, Lebanon & the Palestinians ) have had only one agenda regarding the Jews, their total and utter annihilation. The Arabs rejected every attempt at compromise since 1948 and before that.

The Arabs attacked in 1948, 1956, 1967 ( six day war ) and 1973 ( Yom Kippur ) in an attempt to wipe out the Jews, but failed just like the Nazi's did.

I for one one hope that the British army are involved in tracking down and killing Hamas terrorists and making up for our failure during the mandate

Anyone know from his past comments what he sees as the alternative. Is he proposing that the State of Israel ceases to exist.

Why would you jump straight to Israel not existing? When people talk about the occupied territories they're not talking about the entire place?

👆 This is a map of the West Bank from wikipedia. Its supposed to be Palestinian but all of the lilac area is under Israeli occupation. The islands of green are the parts Palestine actually gets to control for itself.

This is why a two a two state solution isn't even worth discussing unless the occupation ends. How could the green areas sensibly make up a country. Imagine if travelling from Middlesbrough to London you had to cross borders going in and out of another country 7 times.

👆 This is a map of Israel, the West Bank and Gaza. You can see that even if Israels occupation of the Palestinian territories ended there'd still be a big piece of land in the middle that is Israel.

Honestly I can't help but find talk of Israel ceasing to exist disingenuous. In reality, in a few weeks or months they'll have annexed Gaza, occupied more of the West Bank, and it'll be Palestine that moves even further away from existing.

I know the history very well.
You clearly dont.

Buy and read this:

Its written and researched by Ilan Pappe; an Israeli Jew who`s parents fled the Nazis.
You will find a concise, accurate, well researched, lived experience of the Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, particularly by the Terrorist "Stern Gang" and Zionist Paramilitary "Irgun" - who massacred unarmed Palestinians, slaughtering them in their thousands and displacing over 700,000 from their homeland. The Zionist terrorists flattened and burned entire towns and villages, including their inhabitants.
The British Mandate was the handing over of Palestine from one Coloniser to another.
[Google "Stern Gang" and "Irgun" and understand what really happened].

Invoking the Holocaust doesnt absolve the Israeli Government from pattern bombing and murdering innocent civilians - now totalling over 16,000 [mostly women and children]. Israel is a Zionist entity. "Zionism" existed long before Hitler and the Second World War. Zionism is aethiestic - not founded upon the Torah of Judaism. Millions of Jews world-wide reject the ideology which portrays Israel as the "home" of world Jewry. Israel represents Zionism, not Judaism.

You might want to listen briefly to these Israeli citizens in Tel Aviv, demanding an end to war and calling for a ceasefire [Posted 6 hours ago] :

You would do well to understand The Balfour Declaration embodied the Zionist ideology and its colonialist intentions:

Alternatively, do what I did and get yourself over there and open your eyes.

Read this for a more balanced view, she was a true socialist as well as a Zionist.

To be honest these days I find that so called socialists can be as anti-semitic as any extreme right winger, especially your friend Corbin

What has Corbyn done that's antisemitic (and isn't an accusation of antisemitism that has been debunked previously)?

For anyone interested, you may wish to buy copies of this trilogy:

Golda Meir was a close friend of Alan Hart.
She was the architect of Modern day Israel and far from being a "socialist".
She is well known for the comment "There`s no such thing as Palestinians".
Alan Hart was former Middle East Correspondent for ITV and a former Panorama Presenter.
This trilogy is a detailed picture of the landscape of the origins and development of the zionist entity.

There is no evidence that Corbyn is antisemitic and the enquiries into Labour didn't find him to be. You probably know that though.
