Only ever managed to get on the new carriers once (POW) when I was involved in doing its firefighting equipment checks and standards. We had to carry out inspections on 10% of all the compartments on board in 2 1/2 days. And there's 3300 compartments .. Been on Victory many times over the years. Had the privilege of a mess function on there one evening.

I have visited Victory on two occasions and you just can't help being impressed by it.
