Brexit trade deal talks going backwards rather than forwards

I'

I've never seen such tunnel vision in my life. Where it comes to the Tories you're like a lovesick teenager Coops, wake up and smell the coffee man.

You're either the Tories #1 cheerleader or you're in such complete denial that you are one of the ones that helped create this mess buying the Tories magic Brexit beans that you can't admit any wrongdoing from quite frankly the most corrupt and incompetent government this country has probably ever seen.

I would say he is just taking a neutral pragmatic approach.

Usual nonsense from our favourite Tory on this thread; spouting nonsense with the idea of 'taking sides'. It's been clear for months that the oven ready deal was another scam that people have fallen for; when I hear 'Get Brexit Done' I think of Matt Damon in Team America. The fact his own 'deal' with the withdrawal agreement went back on things he had said were non negotiable and red lines for TM says everything you need to know about him. Sadly it's like the emperors new clothes people say something enough times and they'll believe it's fantastic when quite clearly the opposite is true. If a government had made the number of mistakes and corrupt decisions that this one had in a full parliament it would be bad enough but this one hasn't even been in a year, let that sink in. Sadly society is becoming incredibly selfish looking at self preservation and it's not the way it should be.

So despite all the hot air and mud slinging the only thing I asked for... examples of the UK negotiating team throwing tantrums, we have zero examples.

There you go again 'hot air and mud slinging'. Can't see the wood for the trees. Have you any evidence that the Tory party have negotiated in good faith, haven't got it completely wrong with Covid, aren't complicit in handing millions to private friends for PPE that hasn't been delivered/or is substandard or weren't responsible along with Cummings on designing the algorithm used to penalise disadvantaged students?

Cooper you do miss one important fact when looking at the negotiations "neutrally". Boris Johnson signed a withdrawal agreement with the EU last year, he has since decided he doesn't like the agreement he signed and wants to negotiate a new agreement. Understandably the EU are asking themselves what is going on. The simple fact that Johnson tore up the original agreement after it was signed in good faith and was legally binding does mean that it is our government fooling around on the biggest negotiation in most of our lifetimes.

Tory party you mean the UK negotiating team I believe.... no I don’t hence why I am asking for evidence the UK negotiating team have thrown tantrums... I still haven’t seen anything to quantify that statement.

The rest of your statement again is nothing to do with this thread or my comments. It’s about Brexit negotiations. Your bringing other factors into play which I haven’t even discussed. Simple question where is the evidence to show that the UK negotiating team have thrown tantrums... that’s all I asked!

Cooper and that was all I answered, they had a tantrum when they tore up the original agreement - evidence of prior bad acts.

That maybe so but I haven’t turned this thread into some huge anti government agenda. I asked what do people want Johnson to do the minute Barnier makes a statement and secondly is there any evidence to show the UK side have thrown tantrums.... nothing else.

As you can see from Hudds post he’s gone into some mass anti government post which is not pertinent to the thread or the question I’ve asked.

That's because the TORY GOVERNMENT are negotiating the deal no other party. It's pertinent to the fact you continually spout nonsense on this board as noted by multiple people above.

No still not anything to do with Brexit negotiations. I know you get cranky because I caught you peddling lies about DWP practices when unknown to you I worked there (and you didn’t believe that either) but you don’t have to take things to personal.

You have just gone on a rant about the Tory party but i asked 2 simple questions which you ignored.

Laughing - I see what you mean with that comments but I wouldn’t class that as a tantrum... that happens when you don’t get something you want... by ripping up the oven ready deal I would say is more naughty than tantrum

No pedalling of any lies here as I said previously they work at Hartlepool DWP and it's fact that universal credit job coaches were asked to change their role to assess JSA claimants without the adequate training due to cuts. Nothing to do with being cranky you're just a prize bell who needs telling in order to see the complete and utter shambles that's infront of you.

One person on the thread compared it to a toddler throwing tantrums. For some reason you've become fixated on this strawman that the UK negotiating team are throwing tantrums & are demanding evidence of it.

I'm not sure what your actual point is really.

I think the biggest porky you were peddling was about sanctions and how they have targets. A popular myth spread about with no truth whatsoever.

Anyways it’s not like the tolerant left to start to throw insults about 🙄.... as most like to say on here when you revert to insults you know the argument is lost. There is no need to get to het up about things!

The thread is about Brexit negotiations. It’s more on point than student exam results. I have kept to the point of the opening post not trialed to derail the thread by rounding on all government decisions that they don’t agree with

The thread is about Brexit negotiations. ... I have kept to the point of the opening post not trialed to derail the thread

OP:

Says Michel Barnier - #WhereIsBorisJohnson 🤔[
