Ironically, his public stance on Brexit, along with Blair's, damaged the chance of stopping Brexit, in my humblest of opinions - they are both, rightly, to be forever remembered by the left AND right, as war mongers.

& this is what thatcher did created the environment for employers like George Reynolds who by his own words “ I f’ing love thatcher she created millions of desperate fu**ers I can pay peanuts”

& there was plenty more up & down the country just like him.

Apart from Blair & crew lying their butts of to take us to war this is another reason why I will never ever see Blair as a labour leader he didn’t change a damn thing to reverse any of that he was happy for people like him to make millions while taking the pish out of the workforce.
that’s why I understand when people say labour have abandoned the working class because under Blair they did.

I don’t think Labour did, a strong private sector needs a very strong public sector, the two benefit each other. The Tories have ideological problems admitting you need a good public sector so it is natural Labour territory which they should have made a lot more of, hopefully Starmer will.
