Note the article says that the transmission did not come from a lab, then proceeds to offer no evidence as to why not.

well this is hardly news. The ridiculous conspiracy theory that it comes from a lab won't die though. There are too many people who want it to be true.

What evidence is there to dismiss lab transmission as a conspiracy theory, and what evidence is there to suggest animal-human transmission as a more reliable theory?

Why is it a conspiracy theory and not just a theory?

I don't know what's gone on but it's very suspicious that when the virus was known about China halted all internal flights yet allowed international ones to continue.

You need to provide evidence that it was created in a lab, not just postulate.

COVID has existed in multiple mammals for ever, this isn't questioned, people have contracted disease from animals in the past. This is common.

Because there is zero evidence to support the claim, and it is used for socio-political unrest.

There are many coronaviruses that have existed in animals (and humans), but SARS-Cov-2 hasn’t been found in animals, let alone “existed in multiple mammals for ever”.

Surely the most socio-political unrest will be caused by not knowing the truth. And how does animal-human transmission rule out lab involvement in such transmission?

There's also zero evidence to say it didn't either.

Not that it matters at all in the grand scheme of things.

I mean a WHO investigation on Chinese soil and subsequent press conference to report findings, also on Chinese soil, is hardly going to determine anything is it?
I mean they can't even tell us if or what animal it came from.

you can't postulate the truth into existance though. Just because you can perceive something, e.g. this was created in a lab, doesn't make it any more likely to be true than 0.

It's on chinese soil because it is where the outbreak was first spotted, that isn't in itself reason to believe conspiracy. They are not speculating on which animal, because until they have enough verifiable evidence then they would be entering into that same conspiracy world that this other nonsense originates.
 
People reading just the headline is to blame for so many of the world's ills.

P.s. I have no idea or thoughts on if it came from the Wuhan lab.
 
So it's probably come from a wet market where they store bat's / snakes and everything else in close proximity.

Then chop them up on a table with little or no sanitation. I guess it not comming from a lab is marginally 'better'.

I was actually dreading if it did turnout it was man made? Imagine the fallout😕

That's probably what the motivation for this conspiracy is. Anger at china for 'making it in a lab' = trade wars, leading to some very rich people taking the opportunity to get even richer.
 
I don't actually think it was made in a lab, but if it had been China wouldn't have left the evidence lying around for the WHO to find.

Funny that you were having a go at people the other day for being wary of the sputnik vaccine. Complaining about people automatically thinking "Russia=bad" . You seem to be doing exactly that with China here.
