Bread bun or Bread Cake.

I used to visit our office in Leeds and kept asking for a bacon bun, only to be asked "do you mean a breadcake luv"?

As roofie says, cob round here. I’ve always just said butty (as in chip or bacon) or sarnie (as in everything else) and then took whatever I was given.

Bun if talking about bacon/sausage etc, for a sandwich I say sarbo but I'm not sure if that's a Boro thing or a thing with me and my mates :ROFLMAO:

FFS why are people so thick, a bun is a bun, cakes are sweet traditionally. Cob is a male swan or a stout horse.
That said i have just heard Peasholm Park in Scarborough has a number of male swans identifying as stout horses and 1 even as a Maize plant. so 🤦🏻🤷‍♂️
