Still cant believe no one has stumped up 3 mill for him. Absolutely sure he could do a job for us as a ten or even left side midfield especially as a option. And before anyone says yes I know where he plays for blackpool but if you watch his energy how good a footballer he is plus he is only young im sure it would be a cracking bargain signing

Goal and team of the week in the first week i see as well

Is £3 million his price tag? I am sure I heard that Blackpool were asking less than that - it might have been on Sky highlights of their game. I assumed he must be in the last year of his contract and wanted away?

What I've seen he's decent, but a bit fancy - likes the little flicks and tricks - which often don't come off and they lose possession too easily. Tends to shoot on sight as well.....so not sure he's either a Wilder type player or a full on team player.
Not a Tav replacement, would be more of an attacking midfield option.
Thought Blackburn were in talks with him 🤔🤔

You are correct - a £3million bid apparently. I must have been mistaken

We don't play with a left sided midfielder, we play 3-5-2 with wingbacks, not that i think he would be very effective playing as an orthodox left winger regardless, just because he's left footed why assume he would be a good winger?

He's an inside forward who plays off the right in a 4-3-3, he's not a left winger, i can imagine he would be useless as a left winger because he's more agile and than quick and is better cutting in than beating a man down the side in a sprint race

Where would you play a player who looks good on the right in a 4-3-3 when you play 3-5-2?

We are allowed to play more than one system or tweak it when required. We are playing Mcgree as a 10 atm ffs.

Surely for a couple of mill Bowler would be a great option.

Would of being perfect to come on against Sheff Utd in the last 10 mins for eg when we were pushing for a goal

I think its obvious that Cw plays a certain system and even allowing for tactical tweaks within games I cant see a position that would suit Bowler?

Yea I see what ur saying. Being inflexible abit of a disadvantage sometimes maybe
I think CW's system gets the best from the players he has; everyone knows their role, with or without the ball.

It works for him so I can't see him changing, but it's a fairly forward looking system, as opposed to Karanka's system, which was more risk-averse.
