Boro v Nottingham Forest - OFFICIAL Match Thread

Daren’t say too much about Britt.
He’ll most likely score a scrappy winner then all of the hindsight lurkers will bomb the board with know-it-all comments

We've competed well. Holding them at arm's length. Should be in front, Tav should have scored if Britt isn't putting away the first one. A few too many sloppy mistakes in possession, howson kicking it out of play, Tav shooting when Saville was free, that sort of thing. Would rather have seen Roberts than Spence.

Gaz I agree, the keeper has to be made to work. The truth is everyone misses chances. I know Britt is poor on one to one's didn't he fluff 3 against forest a couple of seasons ago under monk.

I think I'd be more pleased that we'd won than being proved right or wrong on an Internet message boaed

We've been comfortably the better team, but you can't waste chances like that.

Spot on. We really can’t afford to throw gift horses away. Their bench is strong, Taylor will be a threat if he comes on, hope those misses don’t come back to bite.

We should do very well today. Forest have averaged less than a goal a game overall and only scored twice on their travels.

This suggests that 1 boro goal should be enough to get at least a draw. Boro average 1.2 goals a game at home.

1 - 0 for me but I will be trading the game on betfair based around initial bets on 0-0 1-0 and 0-1 trading out of the 0-0 as the price drops.
I'm not a betting man so maybe I'm missing the point - but are we talking about football or the stockmarket? Seems to take all the passion out of it.
