Boro v Brentford on Saturday

It should be another good test for us after that display against Norwich, as Brentford also play descent football and I think we should have won down at their Community Stadium. I wonder how many of our new signings will get the nod and an added bonus is that we will have had a full week training but Brentford play tomorrow night.

It should be an interesting game. We are even more 'work in progress' with these new signings, and NW finding the best formation etc. Sounds like one of the signings, Kabana, will hit the ground running, the other two have a bit of stamina/match practice work to do. They should lift the spirit as well.
It would be a wonderful 3 points, a good point and not the end of the world should it be a defeat. As they say it won't define our season.

Looking forward to it.

Noticed Brentford play tomorrow night. Wouldn't mind a few slight niggles for the likes of Toney that keep him out until Sunday ;)

Just checked, Brentford are on the best run of any team in English football,18 games unbeaten, they play tomorrow night so could be 19 before Saturday.
Now what a coup to halt them in their tracks.
Someone will, hope it's us.
C'mon Boro

The thing with forwards is they don’t have to be superfit to be affective. They can just pace themselves, tracking the defenders as they come out and sprint in short bursts. Providing their muscles are ok so they don’t pick up hamstring etc injuries, then it is all about whether their touch and timing are on. As we have a lot of options now they can be mixed and swapped during the games to find the ones on form. (y)

Reminds me of us going away to Brighton in our promotion season under Aitor. Hopefully we get a similar result!
