Blackburn team news:
Ian Poveda will be in Blackburn's squad after sealing a loan switch from Leeds United on Monday evening. He's predominately a winger but can play anywhere across the front and played 17 times for Leeds last season in all competitions. Daniel Ayala should be back fit and may be on the bench for his return to the Riverside, Blackburn are also closing in on Brighton's German winger Khadra but won't be signed in time for Saturday according to reports. Blackburn have a major dilemma over their goalkeeping situation with ex-Boro stopper Aynsley Pears still struggling with a back problem. Pears is yet to feature this season and missed all of Blackburn's friendlies, with Kaminski to continue in goal for Saturday with no real backup available bar an U23 on the bench. Having been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Morecambe midweek, Mowbray is expecting to be busy before the transfer deadline and expects to fill the five loan spots able to be used in a matchday squad before the window closes.

Boro team news:
Duncan Watmore should be fit to take his place back on Boro's bench this Saturday after training all week. Sporar should be signed during the International break to bolster the up front choices with Akpom re-signing for POAK in Greece yesterday evening on loan. Coburn will continue to be on the bench and will this Saturday see Payero start in the League for the first time since signing from Banfield?

What is everyone's team selections for Saturday? Will Uche continue his goal scoring form? Will Paddy return to centre back? Will Tav come in to start?

Weather for Saturday seems good:
18 °C°F
Precipitation: 20%
Humidity: 72%
Wind: 8 mph

The countryside around Blackburn is not terrible but the town itself is a bit grim as are Burnley and Accrington.

Their training ground is a wonderful set up on a gated Estate with pitches beside the River Ribble - try it some time when the kids are next playing there. It is quite hard to find

I like how both managers look like walruses belting out a mating call across the icy tundra.

I love the negative comments about Middlesbrough itself, I mean Blackburn is hardly Monte Carlo!
I paticularly like this one:

"Boro are a club I despise as bad as Birmingham, they think or did think they were big shots in football when in all reality they are a pokey grubby club just like Birmingham with little or no history just a team from smoggie land with little hope but who have a sugar daddy in Steve Gibson.", said without a hint of irony. I mean I could fix it for them.

"Blackburn are a club I despise as bad as Birmingham, they think or did think they were big shots in football when in all reality they are a pokey grubby club just like Birmingham with little or no history just a team from black pudding land with little hope but who had a sugar daddy in Jack Walker."

Other than about 5 years under Jack Walkers money, they've been a nothing club for the last 55+ years. They've had 12 top 10 top flight finishes since the second world war it's hardly Man Utd is it and 11 of those were under Jack Walkers money :ROFLMAO:

That's surprising considering they hate Burnley and so do we, I percieve, You'd think we had some thing in common.

On might add that at least we don't have a wooden stand backing onto the river

As a general rule I find them ok. It's quite handy for me and plenty of parking - hopeless to get out of mind !!
