It is a very neat modern little ground with good facilities. And parking. Well worth supporting.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boro Rangers surpass the other local Northern League teams to be the strongest Non-League team in the region. They are rapidly improving and have access to the best youngsters in the area.

Sadly the stringent pitch requirements for U21s mean that our development side cannot play at this new ground in Middlesbrough.

There was a bit on them in the Non League paper a couple of weeks ago, only formed in 2003.

What is required to get the requirements met ?Boro Rangers , Boro U21 and U18 should be playing in Boro not Bishop ?

New contract signed for Law McCabe. Another lad who started learning his trade at Boro Rangers and was snaffled by the academy at a young age. (9 year old).

Helps when they poach other teams talent

They offer good accessible coaching sessions for all age groups and all abilities across the region so they generally get a first look at the kids showing early signs of natural ability.

As for poaching, I'm sure it goes on, and there's different types of managers at Boro Rangers, some will and some won't, but it will always go on. (This isnt exclusive to Boro Rangers). At the end of the day, the best players generally want to be at the best clubs and the club they think might open up the most opportunities. That club is currently Boro Rangers. No different to Marton or Cleveland Juniors 20 years ago.

I do think it is one downfall of the current development system though.(5v5, 7v7, 9v9 to 11v11). It means every team is looking to take an extra 2 or 3 players, every two years. A team playing at the top level can't just throw a kid in who's not been playing team football, they just wouldn't cope. So they need to find kids who want to come from other teams usually through social media advertising. This is generally where talented players at other clubs find their opportunity to get their child into a Boro Rangers team
