Rangers will pay an initial £3million fee for Liverpool defender Ben Davies with the remaining £4million fee made up of achievable add-ons based on team performance and games played according to Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old defender joined Liverpool from Preston for £500,000 in January 2021 but has never made an appearance for the Reds.

Sky Sports revealed on Sunday (17 July) that the Gers have beaten the likes of Middlesbrough and Burnley to the former Preston man’s signature.

Not gonna lie I wasn’t fussed on him. Sheff U fans thought he was garbage for them when he was given a game and he couldn’t get a game for Liverpool when they had all there defence and all their back ups injured.

I would prefer Greaves from Hull, we should have the cash now. He’s rumoured to be getting offered a new contract so it’s the perfect time to make a meaningful bid.
