I have no major problem with legend. Not quite sure what he gets out of it and can't decide if they're a "hilarious" character or someone with issues but the nonsense posted is a very minor irritant in the grand scheme of things.

The "joke" (if that's what it is) wasn't funny to begin with and is getting very old, but whatever floats his boat. He's not offensive and people shouldn't really get wound up by it.

I can see why he's got kicked off oneboro though. Different forum, different rules/culture. Many forums would see him as a troll and maybe he is, I'm honestly not sure. But if he's deliberately doing it to try and wind people up and his posts could certainly be taken that way then of course you'd expect to be banned.

I think most of us like this forum because it's got a nice balance, tolerant to a point and allowing a fair amount of banter (even if it's terrible) without allowing it to descend to comeonboro levels. But oneboro isn't like that, which is fair enough and they're well within their rights.

Could you have a polite word and ask him to cease posting as much rubbish and plagiarising content from other sites?

Maybe a single thread entitled “Boro Legends Transfer Tittle Tattle” or something?

I too suffered at the hands of a very brave anonymous poster accusing me of being racist( and I have a damn good idea who it was)

All 3 of us are more than capable of standing our ground - however the target at the moment doesn’t have that ability. Time to call an end to the witch hunt I feel.

Sounds like you are, and plenty of others who were calling for him to be banned. Some posters I am told had to take some time away from the board because of one transfer rumours thread. If that's not getting upset over it I don't know what is...

think you have misread. I said why ban rifle in response to the claim that it doesn’t affect people’s lives - how many message forum posters “affect lives” before being banned?

I don’t think you should be throwing hyperbole around like lynch mob and witch hunt when you’re the one that has called attention to this event in public on FMTTM.

If you hadn’t made this thread it would have been a non-event but instead of just getting on with life, you’ve called it out in public and drawn attention to it. Seems like you’re adding fuel to the fire and then complaining about him drawing attention - you can’t have it both ways

I said nothing awful to you but only finding out your real name on facebook. I see you commenting on boro pages that all.

Sorry I’ve got you on ignore list so had to click show ignored content to display this. Suggest you read again, I did no such thing - you have misread and Rob hasresponded to you misreading

I said why ban rifle as in he also does not affect people’s lives, I made no suggestion that boro legend is rifle.

Getting tired of the bullying and picking upon individuals on this board at the moment. And the bullying extends to repeatedly reporting the same individual to admin (I'm not just talking about Boro Legend here ... though we get a ridiculous number of reports about him). This board has an ignore function .... maybe use it before reporting that you find someone annoying. We have lost two good posters this week ... as a response, admin will be a bit more pro-active on here over the next week or so. We probably need to weed out a few people.
