Boro in cup final at the Riverside

We've won that cup 55 times. Domination 💪
The first one was in 1881/82, so all that talk about the 128 year wait was nonsense.
It only took us 6 years to win our first senior trophy ;)

There's a handful of Durham winners on the list.

Stockton
Darlington
St.Augustine's
Portrack Shamrock
Billingham Synthonia

I saw one of the Synners wins at Ayresome and I think it may have been against the Boro, 1972 perhaps.

And in typical Boro style, we didn't actually get to lift the trophy because the Birmingham silversmiths who were making it didn't finish it in time for the final.

Have to earnestly say as someone with close personal ties to Boro Rangers as a club that it's marvellous to see them get this far. Only their second season in the Northern League, ran by passionate local folk with a great deal of love and investment into the local community.

Won't be there myself (the small matter of living and working 80+ miles south negates such luxuries) but hope they all enjoy the occasion and opportunity to play at a ground where I'm sure quite a few of them, like the majority of us, will have once sat dreaming of pulling on the red and white there one day.

My brother won it with Marske United, it must have been around the mid-90s.
