It's clear the job is harder and requires more commitment and dedication than Johnson ever envisaged.
He expected Brexit to be a breeze but then Covid-19 came along to spoil all his plans and now he's complaining about his lot.

Why is it so hard to understand that my point is not about Johnson it is about the salary paid to the person with the most important job in the country............ whoever holds that position.

Why pick on Lineker by the way? An excellent broadcaster who works freelance across networks. Why not mention the £6m salary by Gareth Bale for which he is currently being paid for basically doing very little? That would have been a slighter more apposite point to make to highlight the pay differentials with the most senior politician than I suspect using an individual who is probably poles from you apart politically.

And no matter who is PM, they know that salary before campaigning for the role. A salary set by a committee.

The issue here is Boris Johnson's lifestyle choices and child maintenance commitments are based on earnings above his pay. If he can't cope then he can always look for another job.

And just how long have you been campaigning for the UK PM's pay to be comparable to that of a blue chip, multi-national company CEO. Back to Gordon Brown's days, or Tony Blair's?
