7 miles from his home around Olympic Park.

Government officials were telling the Guardian only this morning, the advice is that when exercising you should you “should stay local in the village, town, or part of the city where you live.

Gives us all a bit more leeway then.

Possibly not.

A source told the Standard the PM was exercising, adding: “But he did note how busy the park was and he commented on it at the meeting last night.

“He was concerned about if people were following the rules and was concerned after his cycle ride around the park.”

Well if the suggestion is that this isn’t local due to being 7 miles then the people who seem to struggle with what their local area is now have a measuring stick

They, and Johnson, already had one when police fined two women for being 5 miles away from their house.

This fine has been defended by both Hancock and Patel, and so there's a precedent here which Johnson of course chose to ignore, as normal rules don't apply to him or his father.

At least that's better than the March lockdown when someone wasn't allowed to be in his garden.

I’d argue 5 miles was the limit anyways and not being aware of their local area but if them two women had driven past a reasonable place to walk on the way to where they went then they didn’t need to go that far.

As for Johnson I presume he doesn’t just choose where he goes willy nilly and if he said he wants to exercise it is planned by his security detail. If there was a park closer than the olympic park he could have used then it that park should have been used
