Looks like the website has taken the initial hit and it's a lot quicker to book/re-book, as the centres have recovered from the lack of notice that Johnson gave them.

Managed to rebook mine from early January to this Sunday.(y)
 
I managed to rebook mine from the 29th to tomorrow (17th) and a lot closer to my home as well! I also done just after midnight last night and got in straight away with no queue... I had been checking earlier in the day and there were queues of up around 9000.

Definitely worth checking regularly if you're not happy with your date.

Yeah, when I'd originally checked it was showing very little apart from Christmas Eve this year outside of working hours.
 
I've just had mine done. Although only useful for Boro fans and board members on the south coast.

I had my original one booked for the 3rd of Jan. I went on the website and canceled last night for a earlier one.

It was pretty seamless. I was number 7689 in the que but i got on in roughly 5mins. I managed to book in today despite being 1630 last night.

Although I'm near pompey but had to go to Southampton. That said Portsmouth had nothing until Jan.

So go for the Southampton vaccine center if you live down this end. A well run machine... Bravo NHS and locals helping out👏

My GP surgery has just text me and invited me to get the booster. Got an appointment at the friarige on Monday. Lot better choice in dates and times and locations than the official NHS website.
 
Had mine yesterday in Stockton , was a fair que like
took an hour in total.
arm aches today , but no signs of headache

Got a text for mine while i had covid and couldn't have my booster til today sadly and link only works for 7 days which has gone now. So booked in the new year. Soonest I could get that I can attend, but will keep checking.

Yeah all the dates I was getting on the NHS website were after January 3rd.
 
Mine was booked pre free for all for 29 Dec. I went and got a walk-in this morning and then cancelled my 29th appointment.
 
Had the booster earlier this evening. Received Moderna after two Pfizers.

In and out in less than 10 minutes at a local pharmacy, they weren’t very talkative mind. Must be knackered after this week.

I had the same the other day - Moderna after two Pfizers

Arm was heavy/sore for a day or so, but that's all so far (y) (y)
 
Started a new job at JCUH Monday so was able to book a booster straight away there and then, seems people are able to get them as quickly more or less anyway elsewhere at certain places. Thought I would have been waiting a while otherwise such will be the rate of demand.

Just glad I've got it out the way. The numbers are terrifying so far .. hopefully, it proves to cause fewer hospitalisations this time around up until it peaks and the numbers go down again. The rate of it going through the PL and EFL seems worse than the last time it was causing postponements left, right, and centre. Worrying.
