Bolasie / Twitter: video - meeting Boro fans / signing shirts / pics / Message / Yan 20:37 hrs 31st May

Seems like a really great guy, I hope we're doing all we can behind the scenes to get him back.

I was aware of his ability, but one thing that shocked me was how good he is in the air, you could see it when he played up front on his debut v Norwich, winning headers he had no right to win.

I'd have him back, but will he come for around £20k/week is the big question - Money is not everything, but I know its pretty important to thse guys because they wrap up their status with it.

At his age, the Premiership is a fading prospect - as are the halcyon days of his big salary.
His level of skill and spirit can be critical on and off the pitch.
If hes realistic about settling in and giving the season a good consistent go - hopefully with no serious injuries - he would be ideal for Neil and his team(y)

He has definitely become the one we all want to keep, but I hope we don't just replace one high-earning burden (Britt) with another. If he comes for a moderate wage then I'm more than happy to see how he can do for a further year, but wouldn't want to commit beyond that, so would depend what else he gets offered.

I actually hope we're not doing 'all we can' to sign him, but if he specifically wants to stay that would be just splendid.

I want Bolasie back and if possible Kebano too. Wages and length of contract will clearly be the sticking points i’d guess. Kebano wont cost much if Fulham are happy to sell, as he only has another 12 months on his contract. I think they would both get more money elsewhere, hopefully the Warnock factor and the love shown by fans might help if there were a tug of war with clubs if we can match offers elsewhere.
