Yes, its a follow up to the film so picks up where the film left off.Is the series actually different to the film? I assumed they'd just split the film to make a series out of it.
I know what you mean, there is never a quiet momentIs it just me who gets stressed watching this ?
There was a letter in the Daily Mail complaining about it. Said the dialogue was poor, too much bad language and too many kitchen scenes.
I think it was the short film that was filmed in one take, not the full length one.I was reading they filmed the entire film in 1 take and planned to do it 8 times and pick the best one, then Covid happened so they only had 4 to choose from. Quite impressive
Is it the same for the show?
No was definitely the full length one, there isn't a single cut. Maybe that short one also was also thoughI think it was the short film that was filmed in one take, not the full length one.
IplayerWhere is it being shown?
The film was intense. Really enjoyed it although you do feel the pressure!
That's mental, and very impressive. No was definitely the full length one, there isn't a single cut. Maybe that short one also was also though
Boiling Point is a 2021 British drama film directed by Philip Barantini and written by Barantini and James Cummings. It stars Stephen Graham, Vinette Robinson, Ray Panthaki, and Hannah Walters. It is a one-shot film set in a restaurant kitchen. It is an expansion of a 2019 short film[2] of the same name, also directed by Barantini and starring Graham.[3][4] It was originally planned to record eight takes of the film, but it was only possible to film half of these before a COVID-19 lockdown led to the end of the shoot.[5]
