Blimey we're terrible....

šŸ¤£ its pathetic mate how two faced some people are on here! We all agree it was a terrible performance, but thankfully the majority of us will put it behind us and hope we can turn it around against Millwall (y)(y)(y)

Two faced would suggest I'd offered an alternative opinion - feel free to bump that to the top of the board.

How long will you continue to put it behind you before you realize we're just not very good ?

Wouldn't want to be in that dressing room tonight, Warnock will be doing his nut in. Granted we've had two poor performances in a row but its not the end of the world!

Tonight we weren't very good, but when we work as a unit, which is more often than not so far this season, we are good and hard to beat. We need to get back to doing that, keep within touching distance of the playoffs and hope for some decent reinforcements come January.

Right, so where was all this, for want of a better word, negativity, when things were looking good a few weeks back? We know we are not the best team in the division, far from it, but they way some of our supporters go on after a defeat is ridiculous.

I agree with you to a degree, where was the negativity or objective analysis - there was none we were acting as though promotion was pretty much nailed on.

Everyone was bought into this whole cult of Warnock, because he got a few decent wins, a few lucky wins and we played a few bad games which were explained away.

We're a poor team, and have been for about 3 or 4 seasons but because he's half decent in press conferences everyone was treating him like Bill Shankly, whilst slagging off Pulis and Woodgate.

We could go on to get the play offs, I hope we do, but the positivity on this board at times was bordering on hysteria and akin to teenage girls fawning over a boy band.

Perhaps now we'll start to realize we're an average team with a OK championship manager, not Barcelona with a young Mourinho in charge of them.

"everyone was treating him like Bill Shankly"

What a pathetic thing to say!!

(it was Cloughie if you read the threads ;):))

I didnt have any questions, I just wanted you to actually engage rather than attacking posts without actually expressing any opinion.

He's a proven manager in this league, yes, as was Pullis and to some extent Monk, it means nothing if the teams not performing. Professionals and "experts" don't offer an honest opinion, they toe a well trodden media line line where Warnock can't do any wrong in the Championship, and any failures will be explained away, as that's their view and they'll stick to it, ignoring any evidence to the contrary.

It's not just 2 games, we've been dreadful more than we've been good - we've been lucky in some (Bristol as an example) and just rank bad in others (Huddersfield, tonight, Norwich Blackburn just off the top of my head) but because he's midly entertaining in the media everyone sort of ignores it.

If we're only allowed to offer an opinion if we're an ex-professional or expert then Rob might as well close this board down now, or restrict membership to only ex professionals.
Actually there is a lot more people dislike Warnock in the game than likes him, but i would (my opinion) say we are playing more attractive football under Warnock than Pulis its just our squad is not big enough or good enough to win every week like some fans expect although i do agree in that we where awful tonight but is that really all down to Warnock,? Im sure the near enough same team won against Swansea and nothing was said.
I wasnt attacking your pust but i was on here and came across a couple of the same quotes from yourself which i thought where dull and boring and that was your opinion so i give mine is that ok im sorry if i attacked you in a hateful manner.
Read again what i put i said everyone has an opinion that's why we have forum's but who is everyone going to believe us or so called experts if the answer is us then clubs might aswell get rid of all the managers and just come on forums and see what us footballing experts are saying and do it that way,
I do agree with you however on the fact that we have been lucky in a few games and scraped through but like i said earlier in this statement that is down to quality and depth of squad which hopefully can be resolved in January.

We were dreadful tonight (Johnson the only player with any credit) However the problems this squad has had for many years now are coming to the surface again.

I think to be fair to Warnock he has been getting the maximum out of the squad at the start of the season but a lot of players are running close to empty now.

The unbalanced small squad is now showing for all to see again, the energy levels we have had all season we are now struggling to keep up and the lack of attacking quality is therefore painfully more evident when we can't keep cleans sheets.

Half the team generally contribute **** all to the match. The likes of spence, tav, saville, Britt, Akpom, have maybe 60 seconds of good play a game and spend the rest of the time playing backwards and sideways generally hiding from the ball for the other 89 minutes. Itā€™s endemic and means weā€™re overly reliant on the likes of howson, Johnson and Roberts in his 10 minute cameos to do it all.

nit sure what to make about moray at the moment too, is he another that only plays well with the right type of player alongside him, we seem to have 3 central midfielders who all want to sit back with someone else taking the initiative to try and attack.

what an absolute ***** squad we have with identikit players with no creativity of footballing brain with the legs to make it count. Neil and his team of 11 grafters wonā€™t win many games with our ā€œabilityā€ to take the few chances which come our way.

TBH lizards I canā€™t for the life of me understand your thought process here. This season weā€™ve looked like the Milan side of the 90s in comparison to last season. I can only assume you never fancied Warnock to begin with and have been waiting for the right moment to stick the knife in. Well you were always going to get it eventually. I guess itā€™s now up to Warnock to prove you wrong by keeping us in the top 10. I donā€™t suppose anyone really demanded better than that this season, and weā€™re currently only sitting 11th!

WBA was one of my more enjoyable away wins in a decade. And followed up with 2-0 against Preston away a few days later. There were high points last season as well.

Well, youā€™ve probably named them all, but yes there is a high point or two in every season.
