BLACKPOOL TICKETS

You’ve proven again that your don’t understand the point being made.

“Staggering the points on this occasion would have made no difference” is just an outright stupid statement.

You might have been alright getting a couple of tickets, try getting 10 tickets. You’re limited to 6 per transaction for a start. Then when they went in the basket they were gone, so another line of seats would be chosen, gone. This happened multiple times as the initial tickets quickly sold out.

Then once I’d finally got six tickets I managed to get the next four tickets, two blocks across from where the others were located.

So we’re going to have to split into a 6 and r and sit apart, which is fine but it’s unnecessary. Never had to do that for any away game last season.

All these are season tickets that had 180+ points, some nearly 200.

I thought you were a massive supporter of this priority points scheme? Why didn’t we get priority over those who haven’t been to an away game in two seasons?

If they had staggered the points windows I could have gone in and comfortably got us all in the same row or even block with no stress or hassle. As it was it was a giant headache and I had to just buy whatever I could as the club hadn’t communicated anything about additional allocations.

Oh but tell me again how it would have made no difference?
As I posted earlier use "Best Seats" tab(or something like that). It stops two people trying to get same tickets. They are locked in your basket until you complete your booking. Only problem is you don't know where your seats are until you have completed your booking. Ours turned out to be row 5 which is not great but beggars cant be chosers.

Yeah that’s it, it depends on their definition of the best seats.

If any Blackpool fans start reading our respective thread and in answer to their possibly provocative question on their thread🤣 we gave Sunderland 2570, which is usually 300-500 more than they give us at the SOS, . our allocation is the same for all away teams in the EFL, but us at theirs is usually reduced to 2000.
They usually give the reply that we throw things but it was the same when we sat on the lower stand in the South Stand.

Looks like we could have easily sold over 4,000 and we are second bottom - astounded again.

Its this a Teesside Jolly Boys Weekend away?

Derby at Blackpool last season...
'that number has was increased to 3,315 and these were all purchased on Thursday morning.

Derby have been given another 611 tickets to take the total allocation to 3,926'

We've been given an additional not sure what the minimum 345 means though surly they mean maximum on the website

To make it clearer:

After selling over 3,000 tickets, we have secured a further allocation for this game.

We will have a minimum of 346 for sale taking our allocation up to 3,773.

Seats will go back on sale from Wednesday 31 August

  • 70+ points: 10am, Wednesday 31 August
  • 12+ points: 3pm, Wednesday 31 August
  • General sale: 10am, Thursday 1 September
Please note the whole of the East Stand is classed as restricted view due to the supporting pillars at the front of the stand

'over 3000', why not say 3300?
3300 plus 346 = 3646
The maths never quite stacks up in MFC ticket announcements.
Never mind, a decent allocation, though less than Derby were offered last season.

Crikey, are people on here really moaning that they couldn't get 10 tickets all together! Boo feking hoo.

I live away, don't have a season ticket and would absolutely love just 1 ticket to go to this match. Absolutely no chance though but it is what it is. No tears here. Enjoy the match lads

Tickets will be on sale until 2pm on Wednesday 31st August. BLACKBURN Supporters can purchase on the night at Bloomfield Road, cash only from the away end ticket booth near the away end.

Blackburn's away support must be $hite 30 mile journey (like us playing Sunderland) Lancashire Derby and supporters can pay on the night!

We have been to the Makems plenty of times in midweek and not sold out (27 miles) especially in the early to mid eighties, when there was 2500-4000 travelling in 85 and then in 87

Early to mid 80s will have been a completely different experience when violence was at its peak and the team was heading only in 1 direction with crowds at an all time low at Ayresome too

87 we were on the up as a team

And crowds shrank all over the country.
(Including up the road!).
