Blackpool tickets

Still some left.
If we are allocated the whole of the East stand, does it not hold something like 4.5k rather than the 3.1k offered?

Do posters remember the great access to Boro away tickets debate in the Summer?

"Most away game tickets were limited to long term season tickets holders and their friends" we were told.

Blackpool and Stoke are currently on general sale or have been. I know WBA, Coventry, Fulham, Cardiff were on general sale

I know but I can understand peoples concern if they wanted to book trains or hotels for example and never being sure if they would make the cut on tickets, also the issue of a group of friends all with different levels of priority, the priority scheme could make the rich richer and the poor stay poor so to speak, if the high priority kept getting tickets and accruing points and the lower priority kept missing out and not be able to accrue points. But am I right in thinking the points finish at the end of this season and then start from scratch??

I think it is a rolling 2 year system.
It rewards loyalty.
If you want to accrue points go to away games, there is plenty of availability.
Having no priority system ( a free for all) was not acceptable.

Extra allocation all sold, that's 3100 and club asking Blackpool for more, should be a great atmosphere

totally agree never been to an away game since the scheme was introduced. Although im a gold card holder if we draw Newcastle or Hartlepool or Harrogate (and i live in Knaresborough) its only fair those who have been going to away games since the scheme was brought in get priority over the likes of myself

Davey - the system tries to balance short term and long term loyalty.

A gold season ticket holder has held a season ticket for 20 consecutive years (around £10,000) that deserves a decent acknowledgement as well as away regulars in the last 2 years.

This season most games have gone to general sale and all to low priorty points holders so I think the club are getting about right.

Bournemouth away is usually a tricky one because of limited allocation (1000?)

Ref Blackpool 3500 would be a decent allocation and probably fulfill what we need.

according to mfc website boro have got a further 168 tkts for the game at b,pool and will go on sale 10pm mon 13 Dec, brilliant away support utb

I'm not sure why they took so long to announce this, they could definitely house another 1000 Boro and still have space for another 1000 in that East stand, so something's up and maybe they don't like the idea of 4000+ Boro in Blackpool on a Wednesday night. There was some handbags at the previous meeting this season over there, so maybe Lancashire police are a bit wary of that.

We were there for day & night did hear of anythimg?

It was on the Blackpool forum, there was a few scuffles after the mach, it seemed the problem there has arisen in other matches at Blackpool, the exit layout means that away and home fans end up walking through each other or alongside each other after the match and this has led to confrontations.

Edit: ...Or per my previous post...I have seen just suggested on their forum ( re all ticket matches) you need adequate stewards and maybe going over the normal amounts who travel there has meant it's difficult to get the extra stewards in.

We were nearly a third of the crowd in the 1987 game.

Some more tickets are getting reeased this week for Boro fans but it is not many, so act sharp.

Just read Big Richard's post and its only 168 tickets on Monday morning @ 10am - they will go that morning.
