Blackpool away tickets

Sunderland took a $hit load on new years day recently (2019) I think the Blackpool fans were staying away in protest at the owners at the time

Doesnt only the initial allocation have concourse/bar facilities? Im sure that was the case when they gave us a further allocation last time

Some people need to get over themselves and have a reality check. Saying they are more loyal than other Boro fans purely based on them having more priority points. I have been a Boro fan for over 40 years, been to hundreds of home and away games yet only now in a position where the last 4 years have a season tickets for me and the kids due to work commitments and financial situation. Those who have no or little commitments and in a better financial situation to attend majority of away games makes you no more loyal than the next Boro fan. Stop crying over the fact that the game starts at 140 points as you really are coming across like you are entitled and a Karen. I have 50 more points than 140 and now i have to get tickets the same time as everyone else. So what!!!!!!!!!

Being a Loyal Boro fan is a fan who sticks with the Boro through all the bad times and trust me, last 40 years i have seen plenty.

So your not a fan of the loyalty scheme then, prefer the free for all?

Not a fan at all. When you say free for all, i think you mean to say, give every fan a fair chance.
But the loyalty scheme tries to bring a level of fairness, surely you are not suggesting the club should have a complex algorithm which works out everybodies circumstances over a very long period of time to work out a loyalty ranking point.

How is it fair when there has been many a game when those on the lower points dont get an opportunity to buy an away ticket and therefore dont have the chance to gain points. That gap will therefore grow further between those at the top end and those at the bottom.

I do actually agree with that bit, I actually thought all the points were going to be zero’s at the start of the season and everyone was starting from scratch again but it seems they are operating a rolling 2 year model, so like you say, the rich get richer and the poor stay poor, so to speak.

Exactly mate, as you say, the rich get richer and the poor stay poor. Having a two year roll over cycle doesnt level the paying field at all.

I get where your coming from.
The rich don’t just get richer though (not without using leave, spending money and going to less demand games. Everybody has a chance to amass points. Stoke, Reading and watford for example? Or Barnsley in the cup.
What the priority points do is allow the fans that travel to the **** games have first opportunity to go to the in demand games.
Some fans are more loyal than others. There’s dozens on social media today asking for season tickets to get a Blackpool ticket, their first game of the season. That’s not right when somebody who does 2 trips to London and midweek stoke misses out.

As already mentioned on the first page, the problem with 140 points for a high demand fixture is that it basically defeats the purpose of priority points.

If you've had a season ticket for 2 years, you're eligible, you don't need to go to any matches away from home or in the cup, so there's not incentive for going to additional matches, beyond actually watching the match.

If you're not a season ticket holder, you wouldn't be in the running anyway.

So you have just provided another legitimate reason why and how the priority points system is unfair. Those with higher points continue to amass points even when they dont go to games themselves. Others use their their tickets on their behalf meaning others who would have gone at the lower points level dont get an opportunity.

Was hoping to take the full tribe with me to this one, was going to ask the ticket office if I could get front row so my 5&6 year olds could come (so they can see the game).

Has anyone even had requests like fulfilled? 🤷🏻‍♂️

They only don’t get an opportunity on the really high demand games, which is right I think. Any cup finals are high demand games, I would rightly be miffed off if someone who didn’t go for whatever reason got a ticket over me who has had a season ticket through thick and thin. Has to be a priority order and loyalty is a good enough priority.

People with zero points could have gone to Stoke.

System works when used properly.

That stinks and shouldn’t be allowed.
I don’t know how they get around that, I know it happens and is open to abuse but majority of supporters wanted a loyalty scheme and ours is a lot better than others.
The 2 year rolling for example instead of running forever giving people an age advantage
