If we win then, looking at the fixtures and the fact that some clubs don’t play until Friday night, we could be in the playoff positions. Come on Boro. Do it. (y)
 
Be fantastic if we can do it tonight….looking forward to it and 🙏🏻 we can play well with a ruthlessness in front of goal….these next two games I believe can shape our season…
 
Amazing Blackburn still have not come away with a draw from any of their 24 league games so far. 13 wins , 11 losses. It's do or die for sure tonight.
 
I'd take a point tonight. 3 points would be fantastic, especially if we could be sitting in the playoffs after the final whistle, but it's not **** or bust by any means.

Blackburn bound to draw at some point so I'm half hoping that's tonight, the other half of me is hoping for a win, which is entirely possible since 11 teams have beat them this season. Boro have only lost to 9 teams so I guess that makes us a harder team to beat than them ;)
 
I haven't seen if Brereton-Diaz is fit for tonight or not, there was some doubt yesterday. The one player who always seems to turn it on against us is Gallagher - he can be a right handful when he is in the mood.
 
I really want us to at least make the play offs. I watched the Wilder chat on Sky Sports with some team fans a few weeks back and when he was asked who would be promoted and make the playoffs, we weren't mentioned. I know its petty and doesn't mean anything, but I'd love for us to prove him wrong and show we are a better team then he had us playing as.

A tad breezy in Blackburn but quite mild compared to previous visits.

Boro and Sheff Utd on the train but all very quiet.
 
It's just got "1-0 Blackburn, Sam Gallagher, typical Boro" result written all over this - we are off the back of a cracking Boxing Day win, their form isn't great.......

Hope I'm very wrong 👍
