Blackburn-Burnley

And why are we so negative about that? A rivalry should mean that we want to play them because we want and expect to beat them. Not that we wet our pants at the prospect of doing so.
Part of me kind of wants them now.

Before we played them earlier this year, our record over them was very, very one sided was it not? Why are some fans all of a sudden so scared of playing them, I don’t get it

I don't think it's a case of fans being scared of playing them. It's more the fact that losing a playoff final will be devastating enough, but losing to them with Mowbray in charge would take some getting over.

I think it would be difficult to police as well. Never usually too many issues when we play each other in the league as there are only ever a few thousand away supporters, so the police can usually contain things pretty comfortably.

40,000 Sunderland and 40,000 Boro fans all going to the same game may prove to be more challenging though.

That’s a point. But if the Met Police could drag themselves away from their main jobs of raping women and killing black people to notice the worst case scenario is maybe that they switch it to 3pm. Like they’re pushing for for Man U v Man C apparently. I could live with that.
