Changed because from Series 2 Ben Elton started to write the scripts with Curtis. Curtis wrote series 1 on his own with help from Rowan Atkinson.Of course comedy is all subjective but I watched it earlier and thought it was dull ponderous and largely rubbish. Interesting though how the black adder character in the pilot and the first series was so different and they reverted back to the character from the pilot for the second series.
He's been in a couple of Scottish comedies, Two Doors Down and Bob Servant (with Brian 'Fk Off' Cox in the title role). It was quite interesting to see Alex Norton playing a comedy role. His part in Taggert was that of rough grouse like copper.
I kept waiting for John Savident (Fred Elliott in Corrie) to say in his brash foghorn leghorn East Lancs accent ‘Ashley’
Yes Ben Elton seems to be the catalystChanged because from Series 2 Ben Elton started to write the scripts with Curtis. Curtis wrote series 1 on his own with help from Rowan Atkinson.
