Was a grim episode. But I thought it was a good one. Watched the Mazey Day one last night which I enjoyed but wasn’t as good as the others.

Most black mirror episodes have a theme that makes me think about society etc but other than paparazzi invading privacy I felt mazey day was such a total departure from black mirror.

Demon79 was too but felt like that had a stronger story to support it. Although if anyone has seen Knock at the Cabin movie, I felt like it has a very similar theme to that.

that is an immensely difficult film. Wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't Aronofsky as I thought it would be mawkish. Couldn't have been more wrong. For me it's his best work since the first two

It was good film. Pretty bleak, and it made me feel uncomfortable all the way through.

I thought it was a 1979 take on radicalization where the demon was the Internet.

It didn't matter whether the demon was real or not, in the same way people believe what they read on the Internet and fail to question it as goggles and other algorithms isolate the user in a bubble of nonsense.
