Birmingham fans

They've got big problems regarding their ownership and are in a tough place currently, so it's not a surprise to see so many empty seats.

Another club which has suffered due to the 'mismanagement' of dubious foreign owners and I worry that the worst is to come for them.

Think they only average 15k at home. Dreadful really.
2 of their stands are closed due to severe structural issues.

They average 20,000 plus when they're not.

The 15,000 average in 2019/20 was because the final 5 league matches were played behind closed doors with the pandemic.
The actual average of the 18 matches they were able to attend was 20,411.

I'm happy that they have low support in numbers but the volume was shocking. I've been to every away game this season and they were comfortably the worst home crowd Ive witnessed, by quite some distance aswell!

Shame really used to be a passionate bunch!

I think the only time they made any sort of noise for a brief moment was after our disallowed goal and our penalty miss, then they went back to sleep again.
Their twelfth man just wasn't there for them. It really can spur a team on and is important. All you could hear in the ground was the Boro singing :)

Again, because of issues with their stadium, stands are closed and their capacity is only 19,000.

If they're managing 15,000 each match, they're selling 80% of the available seats when in horrible form and after 5 and 3/4 seasons of relegation battles.

Work down near there and met up with one of the lads before the game. It's the worst he's known in 20 years of following them. They are right up against it financially, the stadium is falling apart and the football is dire. Like LostIn said above I feel sorry for them.

Some short memories here. When we were scrambling about lower half of the champo under Mogga it was a very similar (if not worse) picture at the Riverside.
Exactly, plus they have some horrendous issues around the owners, so I have a lot of sympathy for their fans, it's a pretty dark period to be a Birmingham fan at the moment.

Genuinely looked on TV that they had misunderstood the memo about playing behind closed doors😂

It's a club that always seems in turmoil. If it's not owners it's the manager. I have to say I expected a harder game. They were god awful.

They can afford their water bill looking at the amount they were putting down. I will willing Howson to opt for the shallow end.
