Birmingham bringing big away following

Just watching their fans on various feeds over the last two seasons,, they turn up regularly, chances are nothing happens, but that riverside road is bottleneck when away fans are Let out straight away.

Very unusual for brum to bring a ddcent away following up here.

Does anyone know how many they brought up last season?

looks like 300, quite a contrast with 2,500 even taking account time of the week.

They were on a four match unbeaten run at the time.

Though we've had some great results in recent times.
But yes, the walk from new street to the ground is an experience. The swish multi million new street centre is quickly forgotten.
that said I do not mind them. Always found them very similar to us. They suffer from having more glamours fashionable neighbours near them which well we know all about. I thought they were a good bet for a top 6 push until the Rooney come in. They did the same a few year ago under Rowett they were in the top 6 then sacked him.

I like it, one of my favourite away trips. Always drink in The Anchor in Digbeth (Just like the Captain Cook of years ago) then a walk through their equivalent of Over The Border. Old school sort of day

Be interesting to see how their players react to Mr Rooney - given they worked hard for John Eustace in difficult times.
A 1-0 after that "Its Not A Derby" against The Deckchairs, will do me. (y)

They brought a good following Sept 2002, think that season was the first time they'd played in the Premier League. My season ticket was in the South Stand not far from the away supporters and they were the best I heard all season in terms of noise. We won 1-0 with French Franck getting the goal.
Was a tasty game on the pitch if i remember rightly.

About 3,000 tickets left in the Boro blocks, including 500 in the South Stand. I doubt any more will be released because of 2,500 Brum fans.

The final attendance could get close to the 29,000 against Millwall.

I don't mind it. Even Digbeth is getting gentrified nowadays.

Still plenty of tickets available on the Brum sight, so they might not sell out.
